2020 Season is at an end
Seasons always pass fast after turning the corner of the new year. Moving to Michigan to play with the Meijer 19AAA provided to be an excellent decision. I loved my coaches, the compete level, and my teammates. It was great having lots of ice time both with practices and games, training with Rob Liddell at the Rolston Hockey Academy, and getting even more goalie coaching with Kevin Delamarter.
Going 4 and 0 at Stoney Creek was a memorable experience to start the season with. We were fortunate to be able to attend all the top tournaments. Our season culminated in the Michigan state championships where we finished second after I stopped all 4 Honeybaked shootout shots, including a team USA player, but we got in too much penalty trouble to beat Bell Tire.
I am happy with how the season turned out, playing 37 games (21-12-4, with 9 shutouts), a 95.5% Save Percentage, and 1.3 Goals Against.
Unfortunately the Corona virus has brought and abrupt end to Nationals and other sports, but most importantly I hope everyone stays safe and we soon get through this difficult time.
